Who would have thought that you can undermount a kitchen sink or even a bathroom sink to a laminate top? As it turns out, this is not an easy job and certainly not for amateurs. This is a job better left to a countertop shop. But if you are after the look and don't mind spending a few extra bucks this may be the way to go. You don't have to go through the expense of a solid top like marble, granite or quartz to end up with a beautiful undermount sink in a laminate top.
First of all, you will have to find someone who distributes Karran sinks, in your area so you can purchase this very special type of sink which comes with a special routable top edge. This way the sink can be flush mounted to the underside of the laminate top and routed cleanly along the sink's edge. Karran sinks have this special type of machined resin matrix edge, that makes it possible to cleanly route the sink's edge even with the laminate, so you end up with a beautiful professional looking installation.
