Sounding hard to believe? Well, it's true, Pfister warrants that for as long as the original purchaser owns the home in which the Pfister product (the “Product” excluding the electronic sensor, control box, power unit, GE filter manifold and GE filter cartridges) is originally installed, the Product will be free of all defects in material and workmanship that would impair the intended and proper use of the Product.

For the electrical components, including the electronic sensor, control box and power unit (battery pack or AC adapter), Pfister provides a five-year limited warranty to the original residential user of the product against defects in material and workmanship.

Pfister provides a one-year limited warranty for the GE filter manifold and a one-month limited warranty for the GE filter cartridges to the original residential user of the product. See Pfister Warranty: Here 

For Commercial Use

 

If the Product is installed in a commercial application, the above mechanical warranty shall be limited for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase of the Product.

Conditional Upon

Proof of product purchase or of original home ownership is required in order to obtain any of the benefits set forth in the above paragraphs. 


 

Getting Free Pfister Parts

Now that you have read the Pfister Warranty and you know why you can get free Pfister parts, here how you go about it.

First, make sure that you really do have a Pfister or Price Pfister faucet.

If you have a Pfister parts list, the one that originally came with the faucet or you know the model and you looked up the Pfister parts number or you looked it up on the internet.  Make a note of the part number.

Contacting Pfister

For any remedy under this warranty, Pfister is to be notified. To receive assistance or service under this warranty, be prepared with a description of the problem, model number, purchaser contact information and date of purchase. Have proof of purchase and be prepared to return the product for inspection if requested.

Finding The Correct Pfister Part Number

Finding the correct Pfister part number is a relatively simple task. If you know the product name or model number, simply go to Pfister's website and enter the name or number in the search box located on the top right hand corner of their home page.  

This will take you to the product page where this model is located, simply click the model to bring up a single new product page featuring all the information about this product. 

Scroll down the page till you come to Techical Documents.  There you will be given three choices, Specification Submittals, Instruction Sheet and Maintenance guide. 

Click on Maintenance Guide, from here you will be taken to a web page containing all the parts number for this product.  Locate the required part and make note of the Pfister part number.  Use this number when communicating with Pfister's Customer Service.

The best way to insure that you will be able to obtain Free Replacement Parts for as long as you own your Pfister Product is to "Register" your product as soon as you make a new purchase.  This way Pfister will have a permanent record of your purchase and you will no longer be required to supply proof of purchase for that product as long as you own it.
